2024 Women’s European Lacrosse Championship To Begin July 10th
This week marks the commencement of the 2024 Women’s European Lacrosse Championship! Over the span of ten days, 19 teams from across Europe will gather in Braga, Portugal to compete for the title of European champion and secure a place in the upcoming World Championship.
Italy’s group includes Belgium, the Netherlands, England, and Finland. The tournament begins on Wednesday, July 10th, with Portugal facing Norway in the opening match, while Italy will start their pool play against Belgium at 10:00 AM CET on Thursday, July 11th.
This year’s competition marks Lindsey Colferai’s debut as Head Coach, following her many years of dedication as an assistant coach for the Women’s team. Joining her on the sidelines will be assistant coaches Ryan Wallace and Lindsay Melvin, along with strength and conditioning trainer Lyndon Stewart.
